Inès de la Fressange and her companion Denis Olivennes: their happy evening with Thomas Dutronc

Two months ago, Jean-Marie Perier had the nice surprise that they organized a party for the release of his new book, Chronicles of a dilettante (Calmann-Lévy editions). On October 26, 2021, several of his friends had therefore gathered at the literary café Les Deux Magots, in Paris, for a joyful evening. The famous 81-year-old photographer was able to find a long-time friend: Inès de la Fressange, who came with his companion Denis Olivennes.

Anne Parillaud, Catherine Ceylac, producer Alain Terzian, Christian Vadim, journalist Annie Lemoine, Marc Cerrone and his wife Jill, Erik Orsenna, Bernard de la Villardière, Jean-Louis Debré and his partner Valérie Bochenek, actor Eriq Ebouaney, Master Hervé Temime, director Philippe Harel and his wife Sylvie Bourgeois, Nicolas d’Estienne d’Orves, Anne Fulda … All celebrated the release of this new autobiographical work. Jean-Marie Périer also shared this evening with his sister, the journalist Anne-Marie Périer-Sardou, the wife of Michel Sardou. But his most beautiful surprise was to see Thomas Dutronc, a long-time friend, perform with his group on a stage created especially for this evening.

It’s my dear Thomas Dutronc who arrived, told Jean-Marie Périer on his Instagram account the next day. In front of a room full of friends he began to sing with his musicians. It was magical for me because his music matched perfectly to the place and especially to what I heard in the 50s when I went to see my mother [Françoise Hardy, que l’on retrouve sur la couverture du livre, NDLR] dance at the Saint Germain club located next door (…). Thank you dear Thomas, come to me with all your orchestra, even in the 60s no one ever did that to me. “
