Indonesia | Violence during a soccer match leaves at least 127 dead

(Jakarta) At least 127 people died Saturday night when angry supporters invaded a soccer field after a match in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, police said.

“In the incident, 127 people died, including two police officers. Thirty-four people died inside the stadium and the others died in hospital,” local police chief Nico Afinta said in a statement.
