This year is finally the right one for Diane Leyre. While Miss France 2022 was unable to represent France in the Miss Universe election this year, the latter is preparing to take her revenge. And for good reason, comes a press release, the Miss France organization announced that the former columnist of “Morning without filter” was going to compete for the 2023 edition.
“One year after returning my crown, I am proud to return to the stage to represent our country at Miss Universe in El Salvador next December,” declared the beauty queen this Monday, July 10, 2023, her birthday, via a press release from the Miss France organization.
“This competition has always been a dream to achieve by your side and I am happy that we can finally write this chapter together. […] My determination and my ambition are limitless and it is together that this year, we will try to win the Universe. Let’s go France! »,continued the young woman of 26 years.
A joy for Diane Leyre insofar as the latter had already expressed her regret at the idea of not having been able to participate in this competition last year, and above all her desire to go on stage to represent France in 2023.

Indira Ampiot gives way to Diane Leyre
“I hope that I will be given my chance to be able to represent you. You know it’s always been a dream of mine. You know how difficult it was for me this year to announce that I will not be participating. I hope to have my chance”she said last December when she had just passed the torch to the new Miss France 2023.
“Obviously, Indira is a priority and if she can go there we will support her fully. Now, if her schedule meant she couldn’t go, I would obviously be up for the challenge. I will prepare for this year no matter what. Anyway, preparing me in a sporting way will be done for Miss Universe or not, because I need it for me. But indeed, if someone calls on me, I will respond immediately. That’s for sure “, she said. A promise kept!
