Limerence is Remy, Tom, Pablo, Valentin and Victor. 5 music enthusiasts who had a first life with two metal bands, DOJ and Back Garden Light. Two formations born in 2016 and which have acquired a certain recognition, on the platforms and on stage. Since 2019, they have opened a new musical chapter by turning to a style of music that has linked them all secretly since adolescence: indie pop. Pop that forbids nothing and allows itself everything.
With the desire to speak against the backdrop of this fantastic chemical cocktail that is love. The word limerence does indeed exist! Meaning : a state of mind that results from a romantic attraction to another person and generally includes obsessive thoughts and fantasies and a desire to enter into or maintain a relationship with the object of one’s love and have their feelings become reciprocated.
Limerence doesn’t just make music. They also created their own media dedicated to indie pop: La Pulpe Club, and a clothing line to finance their projects. With an EP already on the platforms and an album in preparation, the members of Limerence have not finished talking about them!
