The boss of the Vilavi group, Jacques Bouthier, indicted and imprisoned on Saturday in an investigation for “trafficking in human beings” and “rape of a minor”, resigned from his mandate as president. “The Vilavi group takes note of the announcement of the resignation of Jacques Bouthier from his mandate as chairman, and of all his activities and responsibilities within the company”, reacted the company, owner of Assu 2000 in particular.

It all started with the complaint filed in mid-March by a 22-year-old young woman, according to concordant sources at franceinfo, confirming information from RTL. She said that she had been living for five years in one of the apartments belonging to Jacques Bouthier in exchange for sex. The entrepreneur would have recently judged her “too old” and asked him to leave.

Jacques Bouthier is also suspected of having wanted to set up a team to kidnap the young woman, force her to leave France and seize a video she filmed in which we see the boss on a bed with a 14 year old girl. According to information from franceinfo, the boss of Assu 2000 did not recognize the facts during his police custody and mentioned a “trap” to make him sing.
