There were still incidents this Saturday evening in the Monnaie district of Romans-sur-Isère. Around 9 p.m., several individuals set fire to garbage cans before attacking an Asian restaurant. They would have even tried to set it on fire, in vain. The firefighters intervened and received the reinforcement of police officers who are trying to restore calm in the neighborhood. Last January, several dozen young people attacked this same restaurant as well as a dozen vehicles parked in front. The La Monnaie district has been under tension since the beginning of the week. Incidents occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday. The police had to use tear gas canisters and call in reinforcements from Valencia.
