incidents between supporters before the match at the Vélodrome

Incidents between supporters occurred this Thursday evening, before the Europa League Conference match at the Vélodrome stadium. From the beginning of the afternoon, the Swiss supporters of FC Basel arrived in Marseille to watch the round of 16 match against OM at the Vélodrome. More than 500 Swiss supporters gathered in town and had to be supervised during the afternoon by the police.

They then went in convoy to the Vélodrome stadium by metro. It was at the exit of the metro at the stadium around 7 p.m., at the Prado roundabout, that scuffles occurred with Marseille supporters.
