In Koblev, in the south of Ukraine, an upsurge in bombardments is noted. The Zaporijia power plant is the scene of clashes.
The night from Wednesday August 10 to Thursday August 11 was rather calm in Koblev (Ukraine), it is rather rare to be underlined. For two weeks, in this region of Mykolaiv, the bombardments have intensified. They were the most important since the beginning of the war, according to the mayor of the commune. Over 168 days of conflictKoblev had only 21 days without shelling.
On the other hand, there is the threat of a nuclear accident with the Zaporizhia power plant, the largest in Europe. It has been the scene of clashes for several days. Some suspect Vladimir Putin of simply wanting to connect this plant to the occupied territories, including Crimea. There is therefore a strong danger, in Ukraine but also in Europe. All the nuclear agencies are urgently asking to be able to enter the plant in order to avoid disaster, explains the journalist from France Télévisions, Naoufel El Khaouafi.
