In video: the all-electric BMW iX put to the test

BMW is launching a new electric offensive these days with two new models: the i4 sedan and the iX SUV, both vintage 2022.

While in Germany for the Munich Auto Show, the journalist from Car guide Gabriel Gélinas was able to make his first contact with the BMW iX, the first 100% electric utility vehicle marketed by the Bavarian manufacturer.

Offered at a starting price of $ 89,990 in Canada, the 2022 BMW iX is armed with two engines producing a total of 516 horsepower and 564 pound-feet of torque. The 111.5 kWh battery provides an estimated range of 475 kilometers according to European WLTP standards.

On top of these promising figures, the BMW iX has charmed Gabriel Gélinas with its amazing technological integration and its great silence.
