In Vendée 4 of the 5 outgoing deputies of the majority reinvested

The leaders of the outgoing majority formalized their union on Thursday for the legislative elections of June 12 and 19. The newcomer Horizons, party of the former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe represented in Pays de La Loire by Luc Bouardmayor of La Roche-sur-Yon, won 58 constituencies under this agreement, and the MoDem between 101 and 110. This leaves around 400 for LREM candidates.

In Vendée where the LREM Modem alliance had won everything in 2017, 4 of the 5 outgoing deputies are reinvested: Philippe Latombe in the 1st, La Roche-sur-Yon Nord-Challans; Stephane Buchou in the 3rd, Les Sables d’Olonne-Noirmoutiers; Martine Leguille-Balloy in the 4th, Les Herbiers-Montaigu; and Pierre-Henriet in the 5th, Luçon-Fontenay le Comte. On the other hand in the 2nd, La Roche-sur-Yon south-Chantonnay, Patrick Loiseau (Modem) who had replaced Patricia Gallerneau in the National Assembly who died in 2019 is not invested despite his stated wish to represent himself. The name of the person who will have the support of the majority is not yet known but there is no doubt that Luc Bouard already has his idea.
