The queen of fashion has struck again! Two days ago, on January 17, Letizia of Spain was recycling a dress from mother-in-law, ex-Queen Sofia. And today, she wears a very trendy and ultra-young outfit.
This January 19 is the 42th edition of the international tourism fair in Madrid. All the big names in the sector are there. And after two very difficult years for the whole profession, King Felipe VI and his wife were eagerly awaited. Very close to the citizens, and far from being too proud, Letizia Ortiz always adapts her outfits to events. And for this very professional salon, far from the monarchy, she opted for black pants, a white turtleneck sweater, and a houndstooth coat.
But, always also at the forefront of fashion, the former journalist fell for ultra-slim pants in shiny leather. A shape that perfectly hugs her slender silhouette, enhanced by her high heels and her long coat. Loose and slicked back hair, the queen was perfectly in the theme.
An outfit that comes to qualify that worn on January 17 for the reception of the diplomatic corps accredited in Spain to celebrate the new year, in the same way every year. Indeed, accompanied by her husband, the queen donned a long dress consisting of a full pleated emerald green skirt, and a transparent bodice embroidered with roses and foliage, signed Valentino. A creation stolen from her mother-in-law’s wardrobe, which she wore in 1997 at Gymnich Castle, during an official visit to Germany.
