This Saturday March 11, 2023 marked the sad anniversary of the 45th anniversary of the disappearance of Claude François. A few years ago, we learned that Claude François had had a daughter with Fabienne, a young Belgian who was only 15 years old at the time of her romance. “But you’re crazy, you want me to end up in jail?”
Joined by Matthieu Delormeau this Saturday, March 11, 2023, live from TPMP People, the son of the singer, Claude François Junior has decided to speak openly about this story… of family. And this for the very first time! He confirms: “She was actually 15 when she gave birth. I’ve never spoken about it on TV and I’m not going to do it over the phone because this story is complicated. What I can tell you is that I spoke to the mother and I understood that Julie was in fact a fragile woman. It was difficult for me to get in touch with her. Basically, we can say that it was a lack of vigilance. I can assure you that my father did not know his mother’s age when he met her. She was educated, she spoke four languages… he had every reason to believe that she was much older than she actually was.” tries to justify the eldest son of the artist. “One day she asked him, ‘How old do you think I am?’ , ‘But you’re crazy, you want me to end up in jail?’ She is Flemish. The jail, she didn’t know what that meant. It’s French slang. When she says this, You can not make that up”, relates Claude François Junior, specifying that he never saw his Belgian sister, but that he had had her on the phone.
Uncomfortable and annoyed, the son of Claude François also returned to the accusations of pedophilia concerning his father: “It’s been coming out for years and I find it outrageous. Just because he is no longer there to defend himself and because the law does not allow me to bring defamation proceedings. Everyone can tell, peddle and slander with impunity. This is what happens with my father who is associated with pedophilia. This amounts to putting him in the same bag as Marc Dutroux. I invite you to see the definition of the word ‘paedophilia’.
