The Tarn gendarmes arrested them in the act, last weekend. Four men were surprised on the night of Saturday to Sunday, around 2:50 a.m., in a transport company in Réalmont (Tarn). They came from fracture tanks trucks, with the intention of siphoning them off.
The soldiers of the PSIG of the Albi company did not position themselves in this place by chance, to organize a surveillance device: the company installed in this commune between Castres and Albi had already been the target of several thefts during of August.
The four men arrested are between the ages of 18 and 21. While in custody, they recognized at least three thefts. They also indicate that they sold the fuel for 1 euro per litre. The damage for the company would reach 1,500 liters, while gasoline prices are still high.
The arrested men are summoned to court. In addition to aggravated theft, the gendarmes also noted driving without a license and without insurance.
