The promo shot
“They love each other, well almost”, it is the comedy event, to discover this Monday evening 9:10 p.m. on TF1 adapted from the texts of the comedies “They love each other”, “They loved each other” and “They love each other again”. In the cast: Pierre Palmade, Muriel Robin and Michèle Laroque, of course, but also Carole Bouquet, Pierre Arditi, Audrey Fleurot, Mickael Youn or even Julie Depardieu. A burlesque fiction and yet so realistic, a chiad writing, endearing duets that perfectly capture our disappointmentsour moods, our love failings.
The plays that have become cult give birth to a funny, fresh film carried by an impressive cast. Between small infidelities and big shouting matches, we revel in what can usually swell us in the couple.
In this edition of the show “In the retro”:
“I knew our sketches with Michèle Laroque were popular with the public. But I didn’t know they were popular in the business. Just because something is loved by the public doesn’t mean it’s loved by the profession.”
“I don’t know how to quarrel lovingly. Generally, a disputeit announces a rupture.
“While my friends were organizing parties, I was organizing drama show.”
On the death of his father when he was 8 years old: “I refused to cry. I cry the death of my father for 4 or 5 years, since I have been doing psychoanalysis. Realizing his death was too much of a shock. I concealed, I made the man of the family, the man who had to protect the women.”
“I know how to be very, very hurtful, but it hurts me. It hurts my heart to know that it’s as easy as that toto be mean.”
“I had a very bad surprise when they told me that my father had been in a car accident. For me”surprise = drama“. I would love to know life like you know a play and play it knowing the end.”
“All the assets I had appealed to women, but annoyed guys. So it was not easy to give up trying to please women.”
“I am sad to have had my private life ruined by these addiction problems and hiding it. I only hurt myself and I’m getting out of it, that’s it, I’m fine.”
“They’re not mean homophobic, they are corny. If they want to be left behind, if they want to lose 10 years or 20 years… They will pay dearly for harassing and torturing homosexuals. We don’t just fight with handbags, we know how to fight back.”
