For three days, a woman and her friend, whose building was bombed, have been waiting to be evacuated. The entire neighborhood was devastated by a hovering bomb. A woman, without electricity and whose mobile phone is discharged, has lived cut off from the world for several days. Her brother, worried about not having news, braved the danger to come and get her.
The woman packs her bags before leaving, afraid of the bombs, but also afraid that the Russians will occupy their neighborhood. Pokrovsk is located less than 12 km from the fighting. It is strategic, because the city has become the rear base of the eastern front for Ukraine. A taxi driver sees the Russian advance every day as he walks the streets. The exodus has begun, but the evacuation will be long and nearly 50,000 people still live in Pokrovsk.
