In the middle of a Jean-Luc Mélenchon meeting in Marseille, an actress from Plus Belle la vie goes on stage to deliver an unexpected speech!

While Éric Zemmour gave a meeting in front of the Place du Trocadero in Paris, Sunday March 27, Jean-Luc Mélenchon was in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). Indeed, it was on a Prado beach that the candidate of rebellious France gave a speech supported by several local personalities including Sophie de La Rochefoucauld, one of the star actresses of the legendary series “Plus Belle la vie”.

The one who plays Caroline Évenot on France 2 since 2009 has also taken the opportunity to deliver a speech to denounce the supposed end of the series after more than 18 seasons and 4,500 episodes. “ This series, with its thousands of episodes, supports hundreds of intermittent workers, permanent workers, actors and technicians. Stopping the series would put more than 600 direct jobs on the floor”said the 56-year-old actress.

“It’s a citizen, daily series, which for eighteen years has had a real impact on people’s lives”she assured, encouraging the fact that this emblematic show participated in the influence of Marseille, the second largest city in France.

To conclude, Sophie de La Rochefoucauld, present on stage alongside Jean-Luc Mélenchon, invited the French to vote for the latter. “ We are going to vote and we vote Jean-Luc Mélenchon ”she chanted, to applause. “Because with Jean-Luc Mélenchon, life will be beautiful, life will be more beautiful”, she added in a nod to the emblematic series of the Marseille city.
