The Agricultural Show will open its doors on Saturday February 24 in Paris. The opportunity to highlight the difficulties of the sector, but also impressive beasts, like the Taiwan bull.
A gray coat typical of the Bazadaise breed and beautiful muscular development: even pat two years old, Taiwan is a real competition beast. “He’s young, it’s going to be his first big outing”, confides its owner, Joël. Before his Parisian trip to the Agricultural Show, the young bull is pampered, washed, clipped and brushed.
Two animals at the Agricultural Show
Two Bazadaises are therefore preparing here for the Salon, recognition for the Landes breeder. When he is in Paris, the rest of the herd will be entrusted to the care of his wife, who will have work for two. “There are two animals going to Paris this year, but I have 158 to take care of at home, with two less arms“, she says. The couple is, however, not discouraged by the climate of crisis in the agricultural world: Joël knows, he will find support.
