He is back ! The Castelroussin Nuit du Polar literary event, organized by the magazine and publishing house La Bouinotte, recalls fond memories of Castelroussins and Berry. It takes place this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the town hall of Châteauroux. but other surprises are planned at Equinoxe and at the Apollo cinema.

The former National Police commander turned writer has a burning news, next November 4, Amazon prime will broadcast the adaptation for the cinema, by Olivier Marchal, of his novel Deadly traffics (2017 Quai des Orfèvres prize) entitled Overdose. He will talk about it with the public during a meeting at 11 a.m..
La Bouinotte, organizer of the event, celebrates the 10 years of his Black Berry thriller collection during a round table at 5:15 p.m. with his favorite authors such as Pierre Belsoeur, Xavier Viallon or David Verdier. For 7-10 year olds, “investigation games” are offered at the Equinoxe media library as well as at the libraries of Saint Jean and Beaulieu, but by reservation. For the big ones, little frustration there will be no big game-investigation this year (the old building of the Banque de France – where the action was to be held – was no longer available), but a sleepless night remains possible since the Apollo cinema is offering a crazy cinema-marathon evening with the screening of the mythical Godfather trilogy, by Francis Ford Coppola. From 8 p.m. this Saturday evening, nine hours of films interspersed with snacks are offered: charcuterie and cheese at 11 p.m., onion soup at 3 a.m. and breakfast for the survivors at 6 a.m.
