in the face of inflation, the “anti-crise.fr” site allows you to save money while shopping

When inflation reached a record level in Europe, the website “anti-crise.fr” made the front page of many media. This platform bringing together supermarket promotions was founded in 2014 by a couple living on the border between the Gironde and the Dordogne, in Eygurande-et-Gardedeuil.

“On the one hand, we publish all the flyers from the large retailers, we have around 750 of them online. On the other, we have created a database of promotions that can be found alongside the flyers. It can be, for example, the reduction coupons that we will find in stores”, explains Laurent Enselme.

The couple were unemployed when they came up with the idea of anti-crise.fr

“We had a long period of unemployment,” says Laurent Enselme. “About eight years during which we tried everything to save money. We tried first-price products, short-dated products, self-made products. We still couldn’t fill the fridge despite that”.

By dint of peeling the flyers of promotions, the couple has the idea of creating a website which would aggregate all of these promotions. “The day we found this system, we thought there was a solution to fill your shopping cart every week with better quality products while saving on your shopping budget.”

The anti-crise.fr site claims 30 million visitors since 2014.
