In the event of a motion of censure from the Republicans, the La France insoumise group will vote for it, announced at a press conference on Tuesday April 9, the president of the LFI group at the National Assembly, Mathilde Panot.

The party led by Eric Ciotti has already indicated that it “will not hesitate” to table a motion of censure if the government submits a draft amending finance law (PLFR) to reduce the public deficit and this text exceeds certain “red lines”such as raising taxes or a deindexation of pensions from inflation or even health expenditure.

The national secretary of the Communist Party, Fabien Roussel, also announced his support on franceinfo. “We will vote” the Republican motion of censure “if the government comes with an amended budget which says: ‘we are going to take 10 billion euros more from schools, research, health, etc.'”.
