François-Xavier Bellamy, MEP and head of the Les Républicains (LR) list in the European elections, was invited to answer questions from viewers and Gilles Bornstein on the set of the franceinfo interactive show “#OnVousRépond”, Friday May 3.
Asked about the groups with whom he could work in the European Parliament, the leader of the Republicans affirmed that “all groups operate [ensemble] to find compromises”. He does not rule out working with the ECR, which brings together several European rights and which would welcome candidates Reconquestincluding Marion Maréchal, if they are elected.
Furthermore, François-Xavier Bellamy was questioned about the suspension by France Inter by comedian Guillaume Meurice, who repeated his comments about Benyamin Netanyahu and risks dismissal. The MEP believes that a dismissal would be justified by specifying that “jhe pays [et les Français payent] for the public service of the media and I believe that it is normal not to use these media to promote an ideology“.
