In the case of the murder of rugby player Federico Martin Aramburu, a 24-year-old young woman arrested… who is she and what is she accused of?

This Saturday morning, Federico Martin Aramburu was shot dead at the age of 42 in Paris after an altercation in a bar in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The facts would have taken place after a falling out between two groups of people at the bar Le Mabillon according to The Parisian. Separated by the bouncers, the suspects eventually returned to the scene”with a vehicle and fired shots”.

This Tuesday, March 22, 2022, a 24-year-old young woman was arrested as part of the investigation into the assassination of the former Argentinian rugby player. The latter was indicted and then imprisoned for “complicity in assassination. Indeed, she is close to the main suspect, a far-right activist. It would be precisely this protagonist who drove the car in which were the two other suspects who shot the sportsman. Moreover, they are still wanted by the police.

For her part, the woman did not cooperate with the police and even refused to give the investigators the codes allowing them to access her phone or computer equipment.

The disappearance of Federico Marin Aramburu broke the hearts of many people, including that of Dimitri Yachvili, his former colleague. “It was supposed to be a day of celebration for French rugby but I lost a friend today (…) Fédé’ was always positive, full of spirit, full of energy. In addition to being a great teammate, he was a great person. On the pitch, he didn’t have enormous physical means but you could always count on him because he gave everything. He liked to play rugby, he liked the third half, he liked friends and his family. We lose a play brother, someone who loved life (…) He was a guy as we like them, mischievous, always plugging you in with a smile” he revealed in the columns of South West hours after hearing the bad news. Let’s hope that the investigators will be able to find the culprits…
