in Strasbourg, no mulled wine without a sanitary pass if the sanitary situation deteriorates

Tasting a mulled wine or bredele on the Strasbourg Christmas market may well be impossible if you do not have your health pass. If the incidence rate exceeds the threshold of 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, catering areas accessible with a health pass will be implemented. The Strasbourg municipality is warning exhibitors in an e-mail sent this Friday at the end of the morning.

“The epidemic situation is deteriorating rapidly and according to forecasts, we will soon reach an incidence rate of over 200”, announces the City. Once this threshold is exceeded, the municipality intends to take strengthened health measures. “Consumption of food products […] will only be authorized in dedicated areas with access upon presentation of a valid health pass “, warns the City.

The town hall will continue to inform exhibitors of the evolution of the health situation and calls for “exemplarity”. “At this stage, the question of cancellation does not arise”, assures the City.

The incidence rate reached 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the Bas-Rhin this Friday. In the Haut-Rhin, it stands at 192 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
