Would the electoral successes of the RN free the racist speech of its voters? The France 2 magazine filmed a tense exchange between Divine Kinkela and the couple living next to her home, in Montargis, in the Loiret.

Almost two weeks after the National Rally came first in the European elections, “Special Envoy” went to Montargis. In this Loiret constituency, the far-right party list won 30.5% of the vote. The France 2 magazine met Divine Kinkela, a resident victim of the uninhibited racism of her neighbors, supporters of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella.

Since the European campaign, thisyou caregiver, settled in France since “nearly thirty years”, said he endured insults and monkey cries from his neighbor. The latter has displayed French flags under his window, which the young woman sees no problem with. He also put up posters “With Marine and Jordan”, oriented only towards his neighbor’s terrace. Despite this detestable climate, Divine insists on continuing to drink his coffee on his terrace.

“It’s as if the elections had freed up speech. It’s an open door to say to immigrants: ‘You’re not welcome. You’re not at home. We’re going to kick you out.’ “

The journalists from “Envoyé Spécial” went to meet Didier, Divine’s neighbor, a former plumber in the Paris region who settled here to retire. He does not hesitate to make racist remarks in front of their camera. According to him, who claims to see “how does it happen on TV”, “to be French is already to adopt the customs of France”, and those who do not respect them, “It’s the ‘Mustapha’”.

Didier no longer says hello to her neighbor, and when Divine passes in the street that day, the neighbor bursts in to shout at her. “You get out! We left the public housing because of people like you! We do what we want. We’re at home.” And let go: Go to the doghouse!” A outpouring of hatred followed by threats against the journalist who filmed the scene.

On social networks, many left-wing political leaders reacted to the broadcast of this sequence. They brought their “support” to Divine Kinkela and denounced this racism which expresses itself freely, like the ecologist Sandrine Rousseau, the rebellious Danièle Obono or the socialist Olivier Faure.
