Residents of the village of Quissac, in Gard, discovered anti-Semitic leaflets in their mailboxes. An investigation has been opened.

This resident has kept the screenshot of the leaflet since it was seized by the gendarmerie. They received the leaflets a week ago, but the inhabitants of Quissac (Gard) still cannot understand. “When I picked up the mail, I looked at it, I was absent for a moment, thinking to myself, this is a joke. I have a hard time telling myself that I’m in a city where there are people who can think that”, confides a resident. A village where life is good.

The gendarmerie looking for evidence

However, on the night of Saturday November 25 to Sunday 26, around fifty houses were targeted by this call to anti-Semitic and homophobic hatred. All week, the gendarmerie patrolled the housing estate, looking for evidence. HAS less than 50 km from Quissac, the town of Vigan (Gard) was targeted by these same leaflets two weeks ago. Same thing in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) or Belfort (Territoire de Belfort). The perpetrators are still being sought. An investigation is underway, it has been entrusted to the gendarmerie.
