Noisy and densely occupied, the Place des Festivals regained its festive and carefree air on Friday evening when, at 9 p.m., Koriass launched its big show with the title song of its most recent album Abri de fortune, released last April. “Good evening everyone and welcome to Francofolies 2022 – I’ve been waiting for this moment for two years! declared Koriass, who wanted to dedicate this concert to the memory of his friend Karim Ouellet. The rapper did not skimp on the means, summoning on stage a full orchestra enriched with a brass section which was joined by friends Safia Nolin, Jay $cott, Mike Clay (of Clay Friends), Imposs and, as a reminder , Souldia, who will in turn storm the most imposing stage of the Francos this Saturday evening.
