In the last 24 hours, up to 25 cm of snow has fallen in the Bauges above 1,600 meters, 15 to 20 cm in the Aravis and the Chablais. Everywhere else in the Savoy region, it fell between 10 and 15 cm above 1,800 meters. This is the heaviest snowfall since the start of the season. By Thursday we expect around 5 to 10 cm around 1,400 meters, and 1 to 3 cm around 1,200 meters.

Several passes are now closed to traffic in Savoie or Haute-Savoie, until the snow melts next spring. Winter tires or chains are mandatory since November 1 to drive.
