Gesu, June 30, 2022 | Put together at the last minute in view of the absence of singer Madison McFerrin, this quartet did not disappoint anyone. An impulsive and frantic drummer, Makaya McCraven (pictured right) struck relentlessly, even in the softer passages; with Junius Paul on his right blazing his electric bass, they generated powerful funk rhythms.
