A dive into the atmosphere and history of the competition

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., enthusiasts and the curious can visit this train for free. “As we are all a bit into rugby, we take advantage” smiles a father. First stage : a dive into the heart of the Stade de Francein the middle of the lawn, for the first match of the Blues in September 2023 against New Zealand thanks to virtual reality helmets.

During the visit, we discover the signed jerseys of the qualified teams for the competition but we also immerse ourselves in world cup history, videos and sounds in support. If all this interests them, most visitors expect only one thing, “See the cut! Ready!” one of them laughs. Inevitably, it is the highlight of the show that puts an end to the visit. “Oh she’s amazing” exclaims a teenager, who came with her rugby school.

The hope of having a place for the World Cup

The eyes sparkle as much as the cup, preciously displayed behind a window and watched over by a security guard. Roger, a long-time supporter of the CSBJ and the XV of France is moved. “This is exceptional !” he comments. Like most people who have made the trip, he hopes to succeed in buy yourself a place for one of the World Cup matches in the fall of 2023.

The competition train will another stopover in Isère, in GrenobleWednesday 5 and Thursday 6 October.
