The 2022 edition of the Montreal Pride festival ended on Sunday, after a controversial cancellation of its official parade. Thousands of people still spontaneously gathered in downtown Montreal on Sunday afternoon to celebrate sexual diversity and defend the rights of LGBTQ+ people. Others headed to the Olympic Park esplanade to watch the closing show, including Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar.
