IN PICTURES – In the Dordogne, a haunted course for Halloween at the Château de Tiregand

It’s the All Saints’ Day holidays and in Périgord, it’s time to come and shiver in the haunted castles. More and more castles in the Dordogne open for halloween with escape games, or decorations filled with pumpkins for children. This is the case of the castle of Bridoire or that of Hautefort this year, but also of the castle of Duras in Lot-et-Garonne. Something new this year, the castle of Tiregand
in Creysse, 5 minutes from Bergerac.

The castle has just been taken over in March by Louis Guyot, 25, whose family already owns the castle of Bridoire. This is one of the very first times it has opened to the public, after a run on Arsène Lupin during the summer of 2022.

with night openings until 10 p.m. from Friday October 28 to Monday October 31. For the next holidays, the castle will offer a themed visit of Santa Claus and his elves, before a visit on the theme of Cluedo in February 2023.
