This park was one of the few on the island where the paths were clear when our photographer visited on Sunday afternoon. Many took the opportunity to walk and contemplate the clear horizon of this extraordinary space.

Some people were wary of the trails at the Île-de-la-Visitation nature park, in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville district, on Sunday afternoon. On Monday, these icy trails will be covered with a thin layer of snow, which could also be mixed with rain, warns Environment Canada.

At the end of February, there seems to be more ice on the trails of this park in northern Montreal than on the Rivière des Prairies. A state which is expected to persist, because no long-lasting cold is expected this week, according to meteorologist Julie Deshaies.
