The defeat was obviously hard to swallow. “It took a very long time, five, six hours, before agreeing to give his speech of defeat,” says Valérian Mazataud. When the politician finally comes out of his dressing room, “a crowd of photographers and cameramen” strafe his crestfallen face. “It’s jostling, it’s impossible.” After a speech, the photos of which turned out to be “too classic”, Valérian Mazataud tried to seize Denis Coderre’s exit from the track.
