Arobase Recrutement, Firm present in New Aquitaine and Occitanie offers an Operations Operator position (M/F), on fixed-term contracts for a period of 12 to 18 months, for GEOPETROL.

You will work on 4 sites, the 2 main ones being Lescurry and Villenave near Béarn (65). Created in 1993, GEOPETROL is an independent French hydrocarbon exploration and production company. The company owns and operates nearly twenty production fields, spread across Ile de France, Champagne, Alsace and the South-West. Due to the diversity of its activities, GEOPETROL has multidisciplinary teams (Geosciences, QSSE, Exploitation, Well Interventions and Projects).
You will have to operate and maintain the oil installations (production, processing, storage and logistics of crude oil) on the 2 assignment sites, in accordance with the operating instructions and the company’s HSE rules.

Main missions :

1 – Production:

  • Operate and manage production facilities
  • Monitor production parameters and the proper functioning of facilities
  • Monitor the quantities and characteristics of extracted, stored and shipped effluents
  • Complete daily or weekly production reports
  • Participate in the loading/unloading of production tank trucks
  • Carry out the necessary measurements and tests on the wells
  • Ensure the optimal reliability of the installations
  • Report any findings to the hierarchy
  • Assist external companies, participate in their supervision
  • Writing or updating P&ID’s, PCF, procedures and operating manuals
  • Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of production centers
  • Maintain production on-call

2 – Maintenance:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities (level I or II)
  • Participate in corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of production facilities
  • Carry out electrical or mechanical lockouts/lockouts
  • Maintain material tracking documents (stocks, inventories, CMMS, etc.)
  • Participate in the update of wiring diagrams, instrumentation diagram, work procedures and all other technical documents

3 – HSE:

  • Comply with HSE rules (wearing PPE, work permit, etc.)
  • Carry out environmental rounds in order to detect anomalies
  • Development of prevention plans and work permits for these operations
  • Be an actor in the implementation of emergency plans
  • Contribute to the achievement of HSE objectives

Your profile :

  • Bac Pro or BTS type training
  • You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, method and dynamism
  • You like working in a team
  • You are able to identify problems and propose solutions
  • You know how to anticipate and deal with emergency situations
  • Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus (electromechanical, automation, instrumentation, electronics, etc.)

Job conditions:

  • Remuneration according to profile and experience from €24,000 gross per year
  • CDD from 12 to 18 months with the possibility of a permanent contract
  • Posting as soon as possible
