Founded in 1993, Geopetrol is an independent French hydrocarbon exploration and production company. The company owns and operates nearly twenty production fields, distributed in Ile de France, Champagne, Alsace and South-West. Due to the diversity of its activities, Geopetrol has multidisciplinary teams (Geosciences, SSE, Exploitation, Wells and Projects Interventions). As such, Arobase-Recrutement, offers for this company, a position of Health Safety Environment Agent (M/F).
You will be responsible for the HSE monitoring of oil exploitation activities (production, processing, storage and logistics of crude oil) on the various sites and you will ensure compliance with the company’s policy, the defined HSE objectives and rules and the regulations in force. You will support the Head of Fields and the HSE Coordinator on these subjects for all operations of the sites concerned.

Your main tasks:

  • Ensure the application of the company’s HSE rules and compliance with regulations
  • Assist the HSE Coordinator in the drafting of regulatory documents,
  • Work planning and daily management of HSE aspects
  • Ensure that the safety instructions are properly understood and applied
  • Guarantee the HSE animation with the teams: talks, safety reception, display…

Operational/functional missions

  • Perform safety equipment checks
  • Establish and sign the Waste Tracking Slips
  • Maintain safety equipment tracking and waste register
  • Check vehicles entering the sites (tanks, construction machinery, cranes)
  • Ensure safety supervision during the works; carry out construction rounds
  • Participate in the development of prevention plans and risk analyzes
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance with the identified preventive measures
  • Co-sign Work Permits as an HSE agent
  • Carry out the atmosphere checks and note the results on the Work Permit
  • Organization and animation of evacuation, firefighting and pollution drills
  • Cooperate in the implementation of emergency plans in the event of an incident/accident
  • In the event of immediate danger, stop or suspend work and alert the hierarchy
  • Participate in HSE meetings organized by its managers
  • Participate in the drafting of HSE reports
  • Ensure the updating of indicators and monitoring tables

Your profile :

  • Coming from a Bac + 2 type BTS training with an SSE specialty in industry
  • You are new to the function or have a first significant experience
  • Knowledge in the field of industrial risks and ICPEs is required
  • Knowledge of the H2S environment would be a plus
  • Knowledge of regulations, labor law, environmental code / RGIE
  • Autonomy, Rigor, great adaptability and desire to learn
  • You are a hands-on, dynamic and organized person
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • English is a plus
  • Mobility, in order to intervene on sites between 30 minutes and 1 hour away from each other

Job conditions:

  • Remuneration according to profile and experience from 23K€ gross annual
  • Service vehicle
  • Technical constraints to be considered according to the evolution of skills
  • 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract
