The town of Ouistreham, in Normandy, offers land by the sea to build houses at low prices. In total, 13 lots are for sale.
A small wooden cabin by the sea, where to spend your holidays on the Normandy coast. 13 town hall plots of land are for sale in Ouistreham (Calvados), on an exceptional site. The starting price is 100 euros per square meter, but anyone can offer more. “It’s a bit of a lifelong dream, to have your plot facing the sea”confides Maxence, a potential buyer.
Many Normans interested
Among those interested, many Normans. Some have a very specific project. “The proximity of my boat, and a territory that I know well, in which I have been established for a long time”, values Frédéric. For others, like Raynald and Marie-Chantal, a Parisian couple, it is an investment opportunity. On plots of 300 to 500 square meters, no main residence is authorized. These must be sheds, for holidays or leisure. Some buyers fear a risk of flooding, due to the proximity to the sea.
