In “Virginie Hocq or almost”, the comedian tenderly revisits our life course, from childhood to old age. Stories and memories spring up, questions jostle in her head as she tidies and piles up the boxes and boxes of her missing dad’s apartment.
Throughout the story she tells us, appear objects that project her to various periods of her life : childhood, adolescence or old age – which she especially does not want to be around – and even her daddy’s slip, as she so delicately calls him.
Ultimately, we all experience these same stages of life. And even if the songs, the first names mark the generations, all this is onlya perpetual renewal.
