In Normandy, music and sculpture come together for a moving festival in the heart of nature

Near Rouen, there is a little corner of paradise where the arts (music, dance, theater, street arts) meet. The “Terre d’accord” Festival allows you to share the intimacy and striking particularity of the Jardin d’art through other channels, those of live performance. The Terre d'accord Festival allows you to share the intimacy of the Jardin d'art through other channels, those of live performance. An open-air museum where melodies float. (France 3)

In a garden like no other, where the art of botany blends harmoniously with that of sculpture, a soothing tranquility reigns. But today, this calm is gently interrupted by musical notes. TThe melodies resonate and the birds join in and sing in perfect harmony during an intimate concert organized as part of the festival. Land of agreementwhich takes place in this enchanting garden of La Chapelle-sur-Dun (Normandy).

François Lazarevitch, a talented musician, is the author. He wanders in the middle of nature, offering around fifty spectators a suspended moment. “What a chance to play around this splendid nature, to observe the smallest corner, from the branch that beats in the wind to the insect that lands on us, it’s very inspiring”he confides, moved by the unique atmosphere of the place.

On the program for these evenings that start at 9 p.m., there is flute and even bagpipes, instruments that blend perfectly with the surrounding nature. A delighted spectator exclaims: “I’m in paradise, the weather is great, the scenery is magnificent, it’s a pleasure for the ears, a pleasure for the eyes. And somewhere it elevates us, it transcends us a little, it feels good in the middle of the holidays.”

And it’s not over yet! Two other shows mixing dance and music are on the program. On August 15, it’s a dance and street art performance with the company In Fineaccompanied by the synthesizer, while on August 24, Louise Vertigo will enchant the audience with her voice, accompanied by the guitar to offer a festival where nature and culture meet.
