in Normandy, does La Bouille have a chance of winning?

La Bouille was selected among fourteen other municipalities in France to participate in the program “Favorite village of the French” on France 3 presented by Stéphane Bern. The small village located about twenty kilometers southwest of Rouen has every chance of winning, according to its inhabitants and visitors, won over by the setting. Except that, be careful, the votes stop this Tuesday.

A unique and authentic village

Hector Malot was born here, the Impressionists used to come and paint La Bouille“, rejoices very enthusiastic Anaïs. She encourages people to go and vote. “We took the BAC for example to come, it’s very atypical and unique“, she continues. “In addition with this beautiful weather, we can take beautiful walks along the Seine.“.

For her part, Marine, a Parisian, is under the spell. “It’s both river and country, both melancholy, we feel the authentic atmosphere“Pascal is from Rouen, he often comes to La Bouille.”There is a whole historical heritage, you can even take a course marked from 1 to 26 to discover the village, it’s really nice“, he describes.

Me what I like are its small cobbled streets“, describes Béatrice. Between the cobbled streets, the half-timbered houses and the history of La Bouille with the Seine, there is no doubt that this small village of 750 inhabitants can win this eleventh edition of the “Favorite Village of the French”.
