“In nine of the eleven constituencies, we are in the lead,” says Christophe Castaner

The first results of the legislative elections took place this weekend. Manuel Valls, invested by the majority in the 5th constituency of French people living abroad, was beaten. “In the eleven constituencies, there will be a presidential majority candidate in the second round. And in nine of the eleven constituencies, we are in the lead”said Christophe Castaner, president of the group La République en Marche at the National Assembly and guest of the “4 Vérités” of France 2, Monday, June 6.

“I saw the violence of the reactions (on Manuel Valls)starting with that of Jean-Luc Mélenchon who immediately takes out a photo marked ‘good riddance'”lamented Christophe Castaner. “Politics is lowered with this type of behavior. You can have opponents and debate but you can also be respectful”he said.
