It is a veritable system of sexual predation that Jacques Bouthier is suspected of having maintained in his call center in Tangier. Barely after being recruited, the future victims were directly presented to the boss.

“One month after integrating [la boite]he touched my shoulder, remembers Nour. He slid his hand to my chest saying ‘in heaven’s name, what a beautiful beauty, what a beautiful chest’ in front of everyone. Each time, he comes and does his rounds of the boss. It’s like in the market. If there is one that he likes, he will go directly to those responsible.”
Jacques Bouthier is still in prison in France. The former boss of the insurance group Assu 2000 is being prosecuted for “human trafficking” and “rape of minors”. In Tangier, attracted by young Moroccan women, Jacques Bouthier is suspected of having set up a network of sexual predation in his call center. Four women have already lodged a complaint and are undergoing a veritable campaign of intimidation and denigration.
Samia worked at Assu 2000 in Tangier. One day, she is the subject of a complaint from a client and it is the CEO himself who contacts her. “I received a call on my work phone, it was Jacques Bouthier.”
“He tells me that he wants to receive photos of me, without clothes, naked. I tell him no. There, he asks me to find someone else, a little sister, a cousin or a girlfriend.”
Jacques Bouthier is direct and insistent but, above all, he enjoys the protection of his managers. Samia nevertheless tried to complain to her superiors. “I reported to the director of acquisitions. He smiled and said to me ‘it’s Jacques. We all know him’.”
Today, the Tangiers victims of Jacques Bouthier are going through hell. “Since the press conference, we have been under pressure. They say they have files to throw at us, that I am a schizophrenic. They even called my mother and summoned her to tell her that I was a whore. They sent people to my house. They went through a local newspaper in Tangier to give Jacques a good image. Bouthier. I have recordings where the sales manager comes to see me in a café to tell me that he is nice but that next time I will be dealing with bad guys from France.
Even incarcerated, the Jacques Bouthier system persists and tries to impose omerta. The management ofInsurance 2000 tried to convince Samia that it was all her fault. “I was made to understand that if there was harassment, it was because I had provoked this harassment and therefore I was the trigger”she explains.
The victims of Jacques Bouthier do not intend to be intimidated. They want to pave the way for others: “Speak, please, file a complaint! We are here for you. Like you, you will be there for us. We will stick together. They can say what they want. They can spread the rumors they want. We know we’re not lying, we’re calm, we have proof and we want justice to be done.” concludes Sami.
