Despite the health situation, it is the desire for conviviality, exchanges and meetings around French song that prompted the members of the Les Givrés collective to launch, in Millau, this festival in the middle of winter, which is called naturally “Les Givrées”. And the title was not chosen at random.
We like to have enough height for it to be funny, tender and poetic. That’s really what frostiness is for us.

On the program of this event organized in accordance with the rules in force: twelve concerts with a varied line-up that gives pride of place to the songwriters of the new scene: Clou, Batlik, Les Trash Croutes, Laurent Madiot and Madame ose Bashung. But also a project around the essential Georges Brassens with Boule, an enthusiast.
When you fall in Brassens, it accompanies you all your life. He is the friend of many Brassens people, even if we did not know him.

The people’s house hosts the exhibition, produced in partnership with the Brassens museum of the city of Sète, dedicated to the essential poet. Twenty-five panels retrace the life and work of Georges Brassens through quotations, excerpts from interviews, songs, photos, letters and manuscripts.
The festival adapts to sanitary measures and offers convivial times each evening of concerts from 7 p.m. in the hall of the Theater: musical surprises, jukeboxes, snacks with local products. It is also a multitude of original meetings with free access: radio hook, vinyl market, song deliveries, cinema screenings, night of the Conservatories, musical siestas, Brigade d’Action Chantée, after parties for adults…
Twenty meetings are offered throughout the city of Millau and in southern Aveyron until January 29.
