In the IT sector, Shortways is recruiting ten positions in the coming months. Toan Nguyen, its general manager, is looking for sales profiles, customer relations managers and developers. He is also ready to hire apprentices.
“We have grown between 20 and 30% for three or four years, so we need people to manage the commercial affairs and the IT development of our software.says Toan Nguyen. Most of our hires are made from bac +3 minimum and the majority of our staff is at a master’s level, but we are also looking for work-study candidates.“
And no need to wait until September to apply for work-study. “It is true that the majority of work-study programs begin in September, but we are also ready to welcome young people who would start their training in July, there are now some online. We also have a new work-study student who arrived in February”adds Toan Nguyen.
Between ten and fifteen software used every day
Shortways is a software publisher aimed at company employees engaged in what is called digital transformation. “That is to say the digitalization and the appearance for the employees, of a whole bunch of applications and software which must be used almost on a daily basis“, explains Toan Nguyen. According to him, the problem today is too much software. “For its employees, the average number of applications used on their corporate workstation is between ten and fifteen, a fairly large number and these employees do not have time to train.”
Shortways therefore offers a virtual assistant which appears on the screen and which will help guide the user in his tasks. Concretely, we will see like a little man on the screen to whom the employee will be able to ask ‘Show me how to put my leave in the HR portal’ or ‘Show me how to make a purchase request’, for example“, details Toan Nguyen.
