The war in Ukraine is entering its 19th day on Monday, March 14. In the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, civilians have once again been targeted: a strike on a residential building left at least one dead and twelve injured. The city is now under siege, authorities said.
AT Kyiv (Ukraine)on the morning of Monday, March 14, around 5am in the morning, a Russian strike blew up a large part of a residential building. Many families were still sleeping in their apartments, perhaps out of weariness of going to the shelters, but perhaps also because they did not imagine that a residential building could be targeted by the Russians. “I’m angry because there are victims, I’m angry at all those responsible, and one person in particular“says a young resident.
In shock, residents who have left the city for several days come back to pick up some belongings, with the feeling of having had a narrow escape. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, arrived to see the extent of the damage, and challenge the world: “They kill people every day, every minute“. According to a Ukrainian soldier, civilians were deliberately targeted.
