In Kervignac in Morbihan, 9 soldiers injured in a road accident

An accident took place this Thursday, April 28 in the morning towards Kervignac in Morbihan. The incident took place on departmental road 170 not far from the place called Lumenlen. The truck was carrying 19 soldiers from the Lanester Commando Rifle Base.

The troop carrier crossed the path of a utility but the road is very narrow. The truck pulled over on the shoulder, which sagged under its weight. It then hit a crossing culvert, a concrete structure. With the speed, it spun around and three men were ejected from the vehicle.

In all, 9 soldiers were injured, including one who was airlifted to Lorient hospital, but no vital prognosis is involved. Traffic was cut off on the road but was restored around noon.
