Rick Rubin and Paul McCartney in McCartney 3, 2, 1

“It’s Paul McCartney alone with a producer named Rick Rubin. They are in a studio with sound consoles. What is very interesting (it’s quite sharp, but me, it makes me trippy!), Is that they deconstruct songs by eliminating certain tracks. They go back to see how unusual the voice alone was on a song or what it sounded like when they added a guitar. Through this process, you get the whole story of The Beatles, especially creatively. It’s really a discussion between two geek of music. ”

Euphoria

Euphoria threw me completely to the ground. There is no compromise in the series, as much with regard to nudity, as words, of a certain violence, but it is never free. In the first episode, I wasn’t sure I was going to continue the series. Not because it wasn’t good, but because I found it too hard. I decided to continue. The series is mind-blowing: the interpretation, the production. The young actors are breathtaking. Zendaya, who is playing the lead role, is amazing. I’m looking forward to season 2. ”

Season 1 is currently available on Crave, while Season 2 will be phased out on Crave and Super Ecran in January in Canada.

Penny Dreadful

Scene from Penny Dreadful

“Not many people know about this series, but I got it completely. It’s a horror series. It takes place at the end of the XIXe century, early twentiethe. Jack the Ripper, vampires, Doctor Frankenstein and his creatures, all the characters of the genre are there. It is written with genius. We have the impression of being in the theater. This is great interpretation. I saw scenes in there that I have rarely seen elsewhere in my life. It’s very British. We’re not in an American series at all trash and gore. This is one of my life-long memorable series. ”
