CBS Sunday Morning
“My husband introduced me to this show almost 20 years ago, and it has become a tradition with us: every Sunday, between 9 am and 10:30 am, we watch these reports made by seasoned journalists on the culture, society and current affairs. I love watching it live, but when you miss it, it’s programmed into the recorder every week. We find several journalists that we also see on the show 60 minutes. They are familiar faces. Everyone has their own interview style. It is an ultra-enriching program with very diverse subjects and always well explained. ”
Live from the universe
“I never tire of watching France Beaudoin’s show. I really like the idea of giving someone a gift. And there is nothing more unifying than music. I find it great to discover personalities through their musical worlds. It capsizes me every time. I sing and bawl in my living room. Week after week, the team of the show manages to surprise us. Sometimes I try to project myself into their content meeting and often wonder how they get there. If there’s one show I’d be happy to host, this would be it! ”
The prodigious friend
“I fell in love with this series from the first episode. I watched the first two seasons in Italian with English subtitles, convinced that I would become comfortable in Italian after that. The images are spectacular: we are catapulted into Naples in the early 1950s. It’s the kind of show that made me forget that I was in Montreal in winter. The two lead actresses are amazing, but the cast overall is stunning. We follow all these characters over decades and become attached to them. I loved diving into this universe. ”
