A resident, 80, walks through the ruins of her house. “My bed was here and there, it was the closet”. Only the garage remains. A group of civilian volunteers secures and rebuilds his house. “You have to be useful for your country and for your people”, says one of them. The elderly woman confides in the death of her son, a 53-year-old civilian, killed at the start of the war. “I cry all the time, I don’t care about the destructions, about my house. I mourn my son.”
