IN IMAGES – The start of the Christmas lights in Pau

It’s sort of the official kickoff of the magic of Christmas. This Friday evening, François Bayrou – and especially the children – made the count, place Clémenceau in Pau, to launch the downtown illuminations, from rue Serviez to Square Aragon where the Ferris wheel sits, via the promenade des Pyrénées. The adjacent streets are not to be outdone. Next week, December 3, it will be the turn of the Place Royale Christmas village to be inaugurated.
