This Saturday, January 15, just under 600,000 French people lost their health pass. They didn’t do the booster dose of the anti-covid vaccine in time. At the same time, approximately 700 opponents of the health pass and vaccination paraded in the streets of Pau, while the vaccination pass ended its parliamentary journey – it could be applicable from the end of next week. Many demonstrators were not vaccinated, but some, to keep their jobs, had to resolve with a 3rd dose.

Marie-Ange, a 58-year-old carer present at the event, will do her reluctant third dose. Her pass has been deactivated, and for her job she must be vaccinated. “I’m sick of these bites” she says. “In 4 or 5 months, again! And we’re going to be vaccinated until the end of our days. This thing is awful.”

Other demonstrators were not vaccinated at all and were therefore not affected by the deactivation of the health pass in the absence of a booster dose.

During this demonstration, some people also alerted on the increases in the cost of living, in particular because of the prices of gas, electricity, food and gasoline.
